The athletic program at St. Edward the Confessor School is a loyal participant of the Catholic Schools Athletic League. In the past year, we offered boys and girls teams in Flag Football, Volleyball, Cross Country, Basketball, Soccer, Bowling, and Cabbageball. With the exception of boys volleyball, each team had a senior and junior team. In the case of most teams, tryouts were held and students earned their places. Teams are coached by parents and faculty members, all of whom complete safe training in accordance with the requirements of the Archdiocese of New Orleans.

The Catholic Schools Athletic League awards championships by organizing conference schedules and playoffs for team games, and championship meets for individual sports. In each team sport, the St. Edward Eagles were able to advance to at least the second round of the playoff bracket. Our students display a great school spirit and support for their teams throughout the season!
